Make X2

You guys need to make Mega Man X2 for iOS. It was one of my favorite Mega Man X games.

Fun game but.....

Needs a very hard mode because the hard mode is too easy

Worth every penny if your a retro gamer

Its really a retro game you should buy this game I recommend it

Classic and Retro Game that deserves new content

I love mega man. I love mega man x. This well done remake is pretty nice and great for new players. However, I find the dlc really weak as I beat the game in less than an hour and got all the armor pieces and find that paying for armor is..stale. So whats needed? Extra exclusive stages and new playable characters, like classics such as Protoman. Plz. Also new mega man game plz capcom? That isnt just 8-bit.

Way better than I expected

Some of these reviews are WAY too picky. The game was incredible! Controls were much easier than I was expecting, and the game itself was exactly liked the SNES version. Saved me 35 bucks too!

Surprisingly good port

Contrary to what Ive heard people say about it, I found this to be a fantastic port of a fantastic game. The controls can be a little wonky, and dashing is kind of a pain, but other than that, I thought it was really fun. The addition of different difficulty modes helps as well, as it gives beginners a good starting point and veterans a nice challenge.

X for toddlers

An IOS version of one of the greatest SNES game is a marvelous idea in theory but the execution is butchered. The control scheme is sub optimal but thats not an issue because the game was SOOO easy its laughable. Reduced knockback for X, decreased invincibility frames for Bosses, no enemy respawns and a much over all slower game means you can rip through it with no chance of a challenge even on Hard. Boss weapons get a huge buff as well just to add to the carelessness you can play with. Admittedly the cleaned up art style is pretty eye catching but not redeeming enough to play this more than once and only on Hard.

Very Solid

I grew up on all the Nintendo systems, from NES up until now. SNES was one of my favorites but somehow I never played this game back in the day. The visuals look great and the gameplay is very clean and smooth. Its not glitchy. The controls, although occasionally frustrating, are very solid for a touch screen. You can adjust the controls in options. The horizontal buttons work much better for me over diagonal. Great game and a must play for any gamer, casual or not.

Please MAKE MORE!

This game has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, playing it at grandmas house with my cousins. This is only one of a series of classic Mega Man X games, though, and it would be awesome to put a few more on the iPad!

Guys you customize your screen and controls

At first I was not too happy how the screen was set up. Its weird that I like having my iPhones camera on my left hand and the home button on my right. Anyways you can fix this by going to the games settings. You can also button map to your style of gameplay. All in all its a great app to my collection. My ONLY problem is that the hit boxes for the Jump and Shoot buttons are small. Maybe make a bit bigger. Make the square hit boxes instead of round. What do I know. Anyways I play console game and this app is never going to be deleted from my iPhone. Great app, keep them coming Capcom.

Would love controller support

I bought a mfi controller so I could play games like this easier! Please update with controller support

Make mega man 3

I think you should make megamans 1-10 because the way they introduced proto man is amazing people will buy megaman games with protoman in them

Great game

WE NEED MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 3 for iphone & ipad!!!

Great game but not the best

This game on the iOS is great but I dont like auto charge yes its easier but not true to the original game the graphics are improved but thats one of down sides that games graphics were great for its time and I personally would like to bask in the original graphics but overall the game stays true to the story is still good and deserves a play

Awesome. But a few issues

Its a little easier than the SFC version. The wall jump is faster and better, The hadoken is easy to perform, the soundtrack is still great, even the arranged. The only problem I have is the animation. Some of them are missing. Examples: the end of Storm Eagleeds stage, the pictures of the characters when they talk such as X and Zero. Vavas was a still image in the original, same for this so its no big deal for vava. Also the background it moves the same speed as the foreground. The original had it move slower than the foreground. Just like most other games. And the sprite animation isnt smooth and fluid. Capcom can you please fix these issues for all the fans?

The guy below me said it all vvv

PLEASE CAPCOM. PLEASE. THIS WAS A WORK OF ART. Please bring Mega Man X2 to IOS. You will make money off of it, I promise. This has been out for four years now... Its time for X2!!!

GREAT GAME... X2 ?

I think that the game is great i love the update to the game buts its controles could be better luckly the the different options to the botton lay out helps alot. What i am hoping is that you guys make "mega man X2" I loved the first game but i have never played X2 but it looks fun.

Y U DO DIS?

Why did you change the animations from the original?!?!??!!! Its TERRIBLE with the new updated style of graphics?!!!?!!!!!!! But otherwise pretty good.

Not the same

Its a fun game, but non of the difficulties are as hard as the original game

Great game, not so great port

Lets be clear here, the choppiness and awkward controls and graphical changes arent the only issues with this port. There are fundamental, game changing issues that were entirely avoidable. Having one fluid stage with no transitions was one of the advantages of the X series over the original, but now its gone. Certain power ups changed locations because they decided to remove the aspect of the game where defeating one stage changed aspects of other ones. Is it the worst port in the world? No, it functions, but these changes were entirely avoidable. It cant possibly be technical limitations if the App Store now supports Final Fantasy VII and many uncut Super Nintendo games. Anyway, for the price, its a decent way to kill some time, but if you can access any other version, do that.
